Give a girl a sanitary pad

The aim of this campaign is to provide sanitary pads to all girls in our sponsorship program and to girls in the schools we work with in order to minimize absenteeism and school dropouts.

This is a campaign designed to ensure that girls do not miss a day of school because of their menstruation. The campaign addresses the lack of access to sanitary pads, which prevents girls from attending school and participating in learning, or, worse, causes them to drop out of school out of shame.

Providing sanitary pads promotes menstrual hygiene for girls, which in turn increases participation in education and promotes hygiene, health, and self-determination. By staying in school, girls are protected from dangers such as early marriage and gender-based violence.For every $5 you donate to us, The Meek Community donates 5 packs of sanitary pads to each girl it supports.
